Gujarat Titans’ narrow win over Delhi Capitals in IPL 2026 brought notable movement in both the Purple Cap and Orange Cap races, with several key performers reshaping the leaderboards after Match 14.

Purple Cap Leaderboard

Ravi Bishnoi of Rajasthan Royals continues to lead the wicket-taking charts, with seven wickets from three matches at an average of 11.71.

Prasidh Krishna has moved up to second place following his performance against Delhi Capitals, where he returned figures of 2 for 52 in four overs. The right-arm pacer struck with his first delivery of the match and later played a decisive role in defending 210. With Delhi needing two runs off the final ball, Prasidh delivered a slower ball that beat David Miller and led to a run-out, sealing the win for Gujarat Titans.

A group of six bowlers are now tied for third place with five wickets each:

  • Rashid Khan (GT) – 3 for 17 vs DC
  • Lungi Ngidi (DC) – 1 for 24
  • Vijaykumar Vyshak (PBKS)
  • Anshul Kamboj (CSK)
  • Nandre Burger (RR)
  • Jacob Duffy (RCB)

Orange Cap Leaderboard

Rajasthan Royals’ Yashasvi Jaiswal stays at the top of the batting charts for the Orange Cap after his unbeaten 77 off 32 balls in the rain-shortened match against Mumbai Indians. That innings took him to 170 runs in three matches, with only one dismissal so far.

Jaiswal moved ahead of Delhi Capitals’ Sameer Rizvi, who sits on 160 runs after a strong start to the season that includes two match-winning performances.

Several other batters have also crossed the 100-run mark, with Heinrich Klaasen (Sunrisers Hyderabad), Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (Rajasthan Royals) and Rohit Sharma (Mumbai Indians) among the leading names in the top five.

Both the Purple Cap and Orange Cap races are tightening. Key contributions from players like Prasidh Krishna and Rashid Khan are adding further competition among bowlers, while Jaiswal continues to set the pace among batters.
