The IPL 2026 presentation ceremony was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad after an exciting final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans. RCB successfully defended their title with a five wicket win and lifted the trophy for the second straight season.
While RCB celebrated another championship, the biggest story of the night was Rajasthan Royals youngster Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The 15-year old batting sensation dominated the list of IPL 2026 award winners by claiming five major individual awards.

Major Individual Award Winners
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi enjoyed one of the greatest seasons in IPL history. He won the Most Valuable Player award after scoring 776 runs in 16 matches. His aggressive batting and match winning performances made him the standout player of the tournament.
He also won the Orange Cap for finishing as the highest run scorer of the season with 776 runs. At just 15 years of age, he became the youngest Orange Cap winner in IPL history.
The Rajasthan Royals star added three more awards to his collection. He was named Emerging Player of the Season, Super Striker of the Season, and Super Sixes of the Season. His strike rate of 237.30 and record breaking 72 sixes highlighted his dominance with the bat.
The Purple Cap went to Gujarat Titans fast bowler Kagiso Rabada. He picked up 29 wickets in 17 matches and finished one wicket ahead of RCB pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar in a thrilling race for the award.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was named Player of the Match in the final. He scored an unbeaten 75 from 42 balls and guided RCB to a successful chase in the title clash.
Special Awards From IPL 2026
Several other players and teams were recognised during the IPL 2026 presentation ceremony.
Sai Sudharsan of Gujarat Titans won the On the Go Fours award after hitting 75 boundaries during the season.
Mohammed Siraj received the Most Dot Balls award for bowling 172 dot balls across the tournament.
The Catch of the Season award went to Manish Pandey of Kolkata Knight Riders for a stunning one handed catch against RCB.
Punjab Kings won the Fairplay Award for maintaining excellent discipline and sporting spirit throughout the competition.
The Pitch and Ground Award was jointly given to Eden Gardens in Kolkata and Dharamshala for providing outstanding playing conditions.
Prize Money and Team Standings
The IPL 2026 season distributed a total prize pool of ₹46.5 crore among the top teams.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru received ₹20 crore as champions. Gujarat Titans earned ₹13 crore as runners-up. Rajasthan Royals finished third and collected ₹7 crore, while Sunrisers Hyderabad received ₹6.5 crore for finishing fourth.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Steals the Show
Among all the IPL 2026 award winners, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi stood out the most. He rewrote several records and became the face of the season. His five-award sweep is unlikely to be forgotten anytime soon.
