Bangladesh has been drawn alongside India and Pakistan in a high-profile Group 1 after the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed the full schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 on Tuesday.
The 10th edition of the tournament will be staged in England from June 12 to July 5, featuring 12 teams — the largest field in the competition’s history — competing for the title.
Bangladesh secured qualification along with Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands through the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier held in Nepal last month, completing the 12-team line-up.
Group B comprises defending champion New Zealand, host England, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Ireland and Scotland. Group A includes Australia, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh and the Netherlands.
England will meet Sri Lanka in the opening fixture on June 12. The following day, June 13, Ireland and Scotland will face each other in an all-European contest at Old Trafford to begin their campaigns.
A notable fixture is scheduled for June 20 at Headingley, where England will take on Scotland. It will be the first meeting between the two sides at an ICC event on English soil.
