The latest IPL 2026 clash between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) did not bring sweeping changes to the Orange and Purple Cap tables, but one notable shift stood out. While the leading run-scorers remained unchanged, there was movement among the top wicket-takers following the game.

Purple Cap Leaderboard

Anshul Kamboj has continued his consistent run with the ball, taking at least one wicket in every match so far. In fact, across five games, he has only once failed to pick up more than one wicket. His figures of 2 for 32 against KKR took his tally to 10 wickets for the season, drawing him level at the top with Prasidh Krishna of Gujarat Titans (GT). However, Krishna retains the Purple Cap due to a superior economy rate.

Ravi Bishnoi of Rajasthan Royals (RR) sits in third place with nine wickets, followed by his teammate Jofra Archer with seven. A group of three bowlers—Prince Yadav (Lucknow Super Giants), Jacob Duffy (Royal Challengers Bengaluru), and Vaibhav Arora (KKR)—each have six wickets, with Arora adding one to his tally in the match against CSK.

Orange Cap Leaderboard

There has been no change at the top of the run-scoring charts. Heinrich Klaasen (224 runs) and Ishan Kishan (213 runs) of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) continue to occupy the top two positions.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi of Rajasthan Royals remains third with 200 runs, with these three being the only batters so far to reach the 200-run mark this season.

Just behind them is Rajat Patidar of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in fourth place with 195 runs. A significant mover is Sanju Samson, who has climbed into fifth position. After starting the season with scores of 6, 7, and 9, Samson has turned his form around with an unbeaten 115—the only century of the season so far—followed by a knock of 48.
