A busy Sunday in IPL 2026, featuring matches between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals, and Punjab Kings versus Lucknow Super Giants, brought notable shifts in both the Orange Cap and Purple Cap leaderboards.

Purple Cap Leaderboard

Prince Yadav emerged as one of the standout performers in Punjab Kings’ 54-run win over Lucknow Super Giants. In a high-scoring contest that saw 454 runs scored, he returned figures of 2 for 25, continuing his consistent run with the ball.

With wickets in all six of his appearances this season, Prince has now taken his tally to 11, matching Gujarat Titans’ Prasidh Krishna but with a better economy rate, lifting him into the top three.

Anshul Kamboj remains at the top of the standings with 13 wickets. Rajasthan Royals’ Ravi Bishnoi moved up to fifth place with 10 wickets after his outing against Kolkata Knight Riders, sitting just behind Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Jofra Archer of Rajasthan Royals now has eight wickets, level with four other bowlers, including Kolkata Knight Riders’ Kartik Tyagi, who impressed with figures of 3 for 22 against RR.

Orange Cap Leaderboard

There were no changes among the top three run-scorers, with Heinrich Klaasen, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli continuing to occupy the leading positions.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who had previously topped the chart earlier in the season, is now in fourth place following his 46 against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Punjab Kings’ Cooper Connolly climbed the rankings after scoring 87 off 46 balls, moving into sixth position with 223 runs. He is level on runs with Rajasthan Royals’ Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored 39 in the same match.

Connolly’s teammate Priyansh Arya also crossed the 200-run mark, reaching the milestone after his 93 off 37 balls against Lucknow Super Giants, taking the total number of players with 200-plus runs this season to 15.

Tight Races at the Top

With consistent performances across teams, both leaderboards remain closely contested. While the top spots remain unchanged in the batting charts, the bowling standings continue to see movement as players push for early-season dominance.
