Fakhar Zaman Reaches 3000 Runs in PSL

Lahore Qalandars opener Fakhar Zaman achieved a significant milestone in the Pakistan Super League, becoming only the second batter to cross 3000 runs in the competition.

The landmark was reached during the PSL 11 opener against Hyderabad Kingsmen at the Gaddafi Stadium. Fakhar entered the match with 2964 runs and brought up the milestone with a boundary off Mohammad Ali on the final delivery of the Powerplay.

With this achievement, Fakhar joins Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam as the only players to have surpassed the 3000-run mark in the league. Babar currently leads the list with 3792 runs in 100 matches across 10 seasons, maintaining an average of 44.61 and a strike rate of 127.50.

Fakhar’s milestone came during an aggressive start for Lahore Qalandars, supported by opening partner Mohammad Naeem. The defending champions raced to 83 for no loss in eight overs at the time of the update.

Fakhar led the scoring with an unbeaten 46 from 31 deliveries, striking nine fours, while Naeem contributed 30 not out from 18 balls.
